Tax Experts James & Dan Phillips to Share Last Minute, Year-End Tax Planning Tips

The Phillips team will present last minute tax ideas to Cypress Chamber

Cypress tax experts James and Dan Phillips will present an overview of tax changes expected for 2020 as well as tips on gaining some last-minute year-end business deductions at the next Cypress Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast on Tuesday, December 10th at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 4931 Katella Avenue starting at 7:30 a.m.

The team from Cypress based Phillips Financial Services will co-present a brief program on year-end tax planning and building a strategy for your business going into 2020. One expected change is the new 20% business deduction for equipment purchases.

James Phillips and his son, Dan own and operate Phillips Financial Services providing financial consulting and tax preparation as well as retirement planning and small business tax advice. The company has been serving Cypress and the surrounding area for 40 years.

Reservations are recommended for the monthly breakfasts and can be made directly on the Cypress Chamber website at cypresschamber.org. For more information call 714 484-6015. Cost of the breakfast is $20 in advance or $25 for nonmembers or those who do not register in advance.

Attendees are also encouraged to bring a door prize to promote their product or service.  The programs include a meet and greet time, self-introductions, breakfast, speaker and a question and answer session if time permits.

The Chamber breakfasts, which are open to the public, are held on the second Tuesday of each month all year round.
