Assemblyman Tri Ta announces having partner partnered with local law enforcement agencies in Orange County to support safe neighborhoods and to continue to educate our communities on public safety issues, including the importance of Police K9s. The educational event, was hosted by the Garden Grove Police Department.
Garden Grove Police Department along with the Police Departments of Huntington Beach, Westminster, Los Alamitos, and Seal Beach as well the California Highway Patrol participated. The event culminated in a K9 demonstration.
“I was honored to partner with our local law enforcement agencies and support what they do to keep us safe as well as what they sacrifice for us in the line of duty. Their K9 partners are a big part of this,” said Assemblyman Ta, emphasizing the importance of these public events.
Assemblyman Ta strong opposes Assembly Bill 742, which would severely limit the use of K9s in law enforcement.
