The time has come to commit to having a wonderful day touring five, beautifully decorated Rossmoor homes, ending up at the Ayers Hotel Tea Room for complimentary refreshments, raffle prizes, door prizes, and chances to bid on Silent Auction items, which include paintings by Bill Salamon, framed prints by Ron Singer, and an iPad Mini to name a few.
Homes will be open for touring on Dec 4 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Tickets are available from RWC members, La Paperie & Company, McNally’s Lighting, Sun/News Enterprise Newspaper, Greenstreet Interiors, Prep Essentials, and Aegean Design Studio/Tamara Rene Designs Inc. Antica, La Paperie and Aegean Design Studio also offers special incentives when you visit their places of business on the day of the tour: light refreshments, gift ideas galore. Aegean Design Studio/Tamera Rene Designs, additionally, have arranged many special vendors to provide additional fabulous suggestions for holiday gift giving, or something special for you. These two friends of Rossmoor Woman’s Club will also donate to the Club, a percentage of their sales that day.
The Holiday Home Tour is RWC’s main fund raiser each year. The proceeds are funneled to local charities; $17,000 in scholarships, Harbour Area Halfway House, Precious Life, Joint Forces Training Base, AAUW (so more young girls can study science and math at their annual Tech Trek Camp), Bethune Transitional Center, Pathways to Independence, and LB Veterans Medical Center and so many more.
If you think you may want to be a part of a group of very motivated, dynamic women who love “giving back” call 562.810.7139 or visit the website www.rossmoorwomensclub.com.
See you on Dec. 4.
