The 2013 Christmas week and 2014 New Year’s holiday street sweeping schedule is provided below for your information. This includes the trash collection holiday schedule, which indicates the days where there will be a one-day collection delay.
To maximize street sweeping quality, please locate your trash cart on your curb, parkway or driveway when street sweeping and trash collection fall on the same day due to the holiday schedule. Please contact the Public Works Division if you have any questions at 562-431-3538, extension 101.
Christmas Holiday
Normal Thursday pickup will occur on Friday December 27. This is a one-day delay due to the holiday. Regularly scheduled street sweeping will occur on Tuesday and Friday.
New Year’s Holiday
Normal Thursday pickup will occur on Friday January 3, 2014. This is a one-day delay due to the holiday. Regularly scheduled street sweeping will occur on Tuesday and Friday.
