Longshoremen feeds frontline workers in Los Alamitos

Longshoremen feed first responders at Los Al Fire Station 2.

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 94 and its members have been busy feeding healthcare workers and first responders throughout the area, according to union rep Raul Rodriguez.

On Thursday, the tasty donations made it to Fire Station 2 in Los Alamitos as the union provided first responders a free dinner which was purchased from Wahoo’s Fish Taco, according to Rodriguez.

“This is a continuation of Local 94’s donations to first responders during the COVID-19 pandemic,” he said.
The local union has been busy feeding hundreds of frontline heroes throughout the region, said Rodriguez, establishing a “pattern of giving during this challenging time.”
