Let faith, family, and community shine while making fun new memories at the 59th Annual Fall Fiesta next Friday through Sunday at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Cypress.
There will be about a dozen rides, a variety of bands over the three-day weekend playing hits from the 80s, 90s and other eras. Authentic Filipino, Vietnamese and Hispanic foods plus other traditional American foods including hamburgers, hot dogs, funnel cakes, Dole whipped dessert, baked potatoes and corn on the cob will be available. There will be a soda booth as well as a beer/wine booth (for adults age 21+) on site.
New this year is the Wetzel’s Pretzels Truck which will serve food for a price. Otherwise, tickets need to be purchased for food at the Fiesta. Wristbands for rides can be purchased either ahead of time or on-site, and unlimited wristband hours are Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m.
An opportunity drawing for a grand prize of $10,000, first prize of $3,000, second prize of $1,500 and third prize of $500 will be held on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Winners need not be present to win the drawing.

Rides at the St. Irenaeus Catholic Church Fall Fiesta include a Ferris wheel and kiddie rides for the little ones. The Fiesta will be held next weekend Friday through Sunday at the church grounds.
There will also be BINGO held all three days of the Fiesta on Friday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. A silent auction will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. Items from the silent auction must be picked any time before Sunday at 7 p.m., otherwise they are forfeited.
Performances in the evenings include the X’It Plan Band on Friday, a Fiesta dance party with a D.J. on Saturday, and the Living Cover Band on Sunday.
The Fiesta is a major fundraiser with proceeds split 50/50 for both St. Irenaeus Catholic Church and school. The festivities will be held on church grounds located at 5201 Evergreen Ave., in Cypress.
