Quirk-Silva to speak to Cypress Chamber

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva

Join the Cypress Chamber on Tuesday, March 9th at 9:00AM for a free Virtual Networking meet-up using ZOOM. Our guest speaker in March will be California’s 65th District Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva who will give an update on small business initiatives and legislation currently pending in the state as well as discuss other issues impacting business. Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva will also be available to answer questions as time permits.

As a life-long resident of Fullerton, Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva represents Cypress and has a close relationship with the Northwest Orange County communities.

Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva serves as Chair of the Assembly Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Tourism and Internet Media Committee as well as Housing and Community development, among others. Her district hosts prominent attractions that contribute significantly to our California and Orange County economy, such as Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland among many others. The Assemblywoman seeks to focus on expanding tourism in California along with keeping the entertainment industry in the state, as Arts and technology contribute significantly to innovation, an area in which California continues to be influential.

As a wife and mother of four children, Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva understands the challenges California families face in today’s difficult economy.

Virtual Attendees at this month’s Chamber Breakfast can also provide a door prize to help promote their business. A drawing will be held at the end of the ZOOM session for those participants still on the line.
