Sadly, 1 in 3 women are diagnosed with some form of breast cancer in their lifetime. That means many of these girls’ families have had breast cancer touch their lives.
The Coast Soccer League is on track to raise $12,000 to donate to the Susan G. Komen fund with the support of their teams purchasing and wearing pink socks through all of October. These Los Alamitos Pacific Soccer Club (PSC) teams proudly wear their pink socks showing their support for this cause.
The PSC Los Alamitos Girls ‘03 team took it one step further by hosting a ‘Team Haircuts 4 Charity Day!’ recently. A couple of moms gladly volunteered their services giving the girls a trim while raising an additional $250 for Breast Cancer Awareness.
