Eighteen Oak Middle School Choir students were selected to participate in this year’s American Choral Directors Association’s Western Division Honor Choir. Students auditioned and were selected from five states (California, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico) to perform with the Junior High Honor Choir or the Treble Honor Choir. Students arrived in Pasadena and endured a rigorous schedule of rehearsals for two and a half days, which culminated with a concert at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Saturday, Feb, 27.
