St. John Bosco varsity lacrosse coach, Chris Jewett, has named California native Brad Brandenburg to the position of assistant lacrosse coach, effective immediately.
Brad Brandenburg was raised in Seal Beach, California, and attended Los Alamitos High School where he played lacrosse, earning a spot at starting goalie.
With Brandenburg as goalkeeper, the team made back-to-back Orange County Southern Section Semi-Final appearances.

Brad Brandenburg was raised in Seal Beach, California, and attended Los Alamitos High School where he played lacrosse, earning a spot at starting goalie.
With Brandenburg as goalkeeper, the team made back-to-back Orange County Southern Section Semi-Final appearances.
Brandenburg was named a three-time Sunset League 1st team goalie and was selected to the All County team in his senior season. He went on to play collegiately at Colorado Mesa University, where he served as team captain for three seasons.
Upon the announcement, Brad remarked, “The St. John Bosco lacrosse team just keeps getting better and better, and I am eager to become a part of the program. I look forward to working with Chris Jewett, and helping him to continue building a lacrosse program that will be competitive at the highest level”.
Brad graduated with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and moved back to Seal Beach in 2015.
