At a time when the National Red Cross has declared a blood supply crisis, the Knights of Columbus Council 8599 of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Cypress is giving people the opportunity of helping save lives by donating blood.
All blood types are needed, and donors can do so at the St. Irenaeus Parish Hall 5202 Evergreen Avenue in Cypress Tuesday August 2nd from 12:00 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Grand Knight Paulo Morales said “hosting a blood drive coincides with one of the Council’s missions of ‘Leave No Neighbor Behind’ by giving back to the local community”.
Knight of Columbus blood drive coordinator Rolly Arenz says donors can call (800)733-2787 to advance schedule a lifesaving appointment to help the Red Cross restore much-needed blood supplies.
