The Los Alamitos Youth Center is responding to the Governor’s Stay-at-Home Order by offering much needed essential childcare from Dec. 21–Dec. 31, 2020, while schools are out of session for winter break.

Parents of young children are dealing with a lot of challenges lately, with homeschooling, new work environments and trying to keep their kids happy, entertained and supervised. The Youth Center is offering this childcare service to help parents, by giving them a safe, fun place for their kids to be, while they work.

The Youth Center’s Winter Essential Childcare services will be offered at The Youth Center, located at 10909 Oak St., in Los Alamitos, from Dec. 21–Dec. 31, 2020, 7:15 a.m.– 6:30 p.m. and will feature lots of fun winter crafts and activities for the kids. The cost for winter essential childcare is $26 per day.

Justine Kim, a supporter and past board member of The Youth Center, has donated all necessary cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer to help ensure a safe environment for the childcare staff and kids.
