West Orange Republicans thanks law enforcement

West Orange Republicans organize thank you cards for law enforcement.

West Orange County Republican Women Federated set up a table on busy Los Alamitos Blvd. and invited members of the community to stop by to write thank you cards to law enforcement. There were also petitions to recall Gov. Newsom and a letter urging Orange County Supervisors to maintain the John Wayne Airport name.

“We had about 175 people come by specifically to express their support for the men and women in law enforcement,” said West Orange County Republican Women Federated President Nancy Hathcock adding that the Silent Majority is very patriotic and unwavering in their support for the police.

Following the event, the thank you cards were divided with half delivered to the Los Alamitos Police Department and half to the Cypress Police Department. Some cards were specifically written to nearby police departments (Seal Beach, Anaheim, La Palma and Long Beach) and were mailed to those departments with a letter explaining the event.
