The team had an outstanding season together and although the majority of the kids had only been together for a short period of time, they quickly adapted to the coaching style and philosophy of Coach Kenny Hodge.
The team scored 26 goals (most in their group) and only allowed 6 goals (least in their group) and ended the season with a 7-0-3 record.
“We are all so proud of the kids and how far they’ve improved their skills and coach Kenny did a phenomenal job with them,” said Carlos Granda, father of one of the players, Anthony Granda.
Their possession-defend-and-counter attack style of play demoralized their opponents, they have a bright future ahead of them.
The majority of the kids are entering the high-school soccer season so the team will be taking a break until early 2017 and will be gearing up for spring season. The team will play in the “State Cup” tournament in early 2017.
