Supervisor’s grant enables encore “Foodie Fest” in Rossmoor

By popular demand the city of Rossmoor will be putting on an encore performance with one last Family Foodie Festival. This last event of the summer will be Celebrating an Arts Grant from the office of Supervisor Katrina Foley the Rossmoor Community Services District is offering another Family Foodie Festival on October 2 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rush Park.

The celebration will include the opportunity for local non-profits to provide a fun game booth, inform the community of services provided and raise funds to support their respective non-profit. Game booths and canopies will be provided at no cost to the non-profit as part of the grant provided by Supervisor Katrina Foley, therefore generating a stronger community.

As usual there will be 10 of the top food trucks from Orange County, Live bands all day and a fun kids zone area. Performing on stage will be Classic Rock cover band Slipjacket from 3-5 p.m. and headline group Knyght Ryder that always rocks the house from 6-8 p.m.
Organizers urge participants to come early to claim their picnic spaces for their group. Parking and admission are free and the event will be held at Rush Park, 3021 Blume Ave., Rossmoor.
