The public is invited to come to St. Irenaeus 52nd Fiesta Olympiad at 5201 Evergreen Avenue in Cypress on Friday, June 24 from 6 to 11 p.m., on Saturday, June 25 from noon to 11 p.m. and on Sunday, June 26 from noon to 9:30 p.m.

The Fiesta is filled with family oriented activities with carnival rides, Silent Auctions, Bingo, game booths, a plant booth, a book nook, and delicious food and desserts for people to try. There will also be entertainment on the main stage by local performers on all three days with a special guest performance on Saturday, June 25 by a man who people described as the “ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist,” George Thomas.
Thomas performed as Elvis in the NBC TV Show “Las Vegas.” The handsome and talented Elvis Tribute Artist will be performing at the Fiesta from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Elvis fans should be sure to come and enjoy his performance.
Families who enjoy playing games and riding the carnival rides could save some money by purchasing pre-sale tickets. They can purchase 12 game tickets for $10 and 32 ride tickets for $20. The Fiesta Committee will have Pre-sale tickets available at the patio area of St. Irenaeus after all the weekend Masses except the 6:30 p.m. Mass on Sundays prior to the Fiesta weekend.
Persons who would like to purchase tickets for the opportunity to win The Grand Raffle Prize of $10,000 or the first, second and third prizes of $3,000, $1,500 or $500, can purchase tickets from the Fiesta Committee or any St. Irenaeus Parishioner who has tickets to sell.
Raffle tickets will also be sold at the Fiesta until winners are drawn on Sunday, June 26 in the evening.
The Fiesta is a wonderful time for parishioners and members of the community to come and enjoy fellowship with each other while raising funds to help the church’s many ministries and charitable activities.
