Rossmoor Woman’s Club provides virtual spring tour

For the Rossmoor Woman’s Club, restrictions on gathering meant cancelling what would have been the 17th Annual Spring Garden Tour and Outdoor Marketplace, which normally takes place on the third Sunday in May.

But not even the virus could stop the club from wanting to share the beauty of our natural world with others. So, members and friends contributed photographs of their own gardens to be edited into a short video. Publicity Chair Susan Denley spearheaded the project, and her husband William Nottingham produced the video.

You can view it on YouTube by going to the club website, rossmoorwomansclub.com, and clicking on the link at the top of the home page. Best of all, it’s free. Normally, the club sells tickets to the garden tour to raise money for student scholarships and to aid local charities, but this year’s Virtual Garden Tour is the club’s spirit-lifting gift to the community!

The club, founded in 1958, is a social and philanthropic non-profit organization that serves Rossmoor, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, Long Beach and surrounding areas.
