While Weaver Elementary School in Los Alamitos has been undergoing campus modernization this year as a result of the Measure K Bond, students are “paying it forward,” by teaming up with Habitat for Humanity. Students in grades K-2 created beautiful stepping stones while 3-5 graders designed and painted interior doors, some of which will be auctioned off while others will be used in Habitat homes and offices.
