The Kennedy High freshmen football team ended the season 10-0 and captured the Empire League Championship. The Fighting Irish closed out the season with a 20-7 win over Pacifica to complete their perfect season. With lost time to the COVID-19 shutdown and adapting to a new coaching staff, it has been a tough few years for the program. But the new coaching staff has proven to be a welcome addition and this year’s freshmen could be the start of the rebuilding process of the program.
