The Los Alamitos football team improved to 3-0 with a 27-20 win over Edison on Friday at Los Alamitos High. The Griffins led 20-13 at halftime, but the Chargers scored to tie the game 20-20 about midway through the fourth quarter. Los Alamitos regained the lead with a big pass play from Malachi Nelson to Makai Lemon to get into the red zone. The two followed that with another connection, this time for a touchdown that put the Griffins up 27-20. A sack on defense helped the Griffins hold off the Chargers late drive.
