Last Saturday the Los Alamitos JV Ice Hockey Club defeated JSerra 5-3 in a very tough game. Megan Almond, the league’s only female goalie faced over 35 shots and came out ahead. Matt Eclevia, Corey Castellanos, Chris Hartman and Trip Kenmuir scored with some great assists. Kenmuir put in two goals for the team and is the league’s point leader. Los Alamitos also leads in assists and saves.
The win put the Griffins in first place in this their inaugural year. Their next game is Dec. 1 against RSM in the NHL rink at Anaheim Ice.
