Today, the Travis Allen for Assembly campaign announced that Jim Brulte, former California Minority Leader, endorsed Travis Allen for Assembly.
Jim Brulte served in the California Legislature for 14 years and is the only freshman to have served as party leader in both houses of the legislature. He was once described as the most powerful elected Republican in California.
The Los Angeles Times recently named him as one of California’s 100 most powerful people, and one the top 20 California political players by Capitol Weekly.
“Travis Allen has a clear vision to restore California’s economy and bring good paying jobs back to California,” Brulte said.
“I am honored to have received the endorsement of former Senator Brulte,” said Allen. He continued, “Jim Brulte has a record of fighting for California and accomplishing great things. As a legislative leader, he worked with members on both sides of the aisle to get things done. When elected to the Assembly I look forward to Jim’s advice and guidance.”
Currently, Brulte is a partner at California Strategies and heads the San Bernardino office.
Allen is a Certified Financial Planner and the owner of the Orange County-based Wealth Strategies Group. He lives in Huntington Beach.
