Students from Cypress High School earned top honors in the Streets, Art, SAFE Traffic Safety Competition for their creative work promoting safer roads. Brandon Vargas won Silver for Pedaling Towards a Greener Future and received Gold awards for Encouragement, Originality & Creativity, and Headline/Copywriting. James Carvell earned Best Safe Driving Poster for Safety Starts With a Seatbelt, while Joshua Yang received the AAA Pedestrian Safety Special Award Gold for Stand Out. Teacher Sunny Chang was recognized with a $450 discretionary award for her guidance and support.
