Several members of Community Congregational United Church of Christ in Los Alamitos recently traveled to Sedona to witness the ordination of Rev. Lorraine Ceniceros. Rev. Ceniceros finished her seminary studies in May and was called by the Los Alamitos UCC to become their minister.
After receiving a call to serve as minister, UCC protocol requires seminary graduates to be ordained at their own local church. Rev. Ceniceros had been a member of The Church of The Red Rocks in Sedona. A service to install Rev. Ceniceros as settled pastor of CCUCC is being planned for early 2014.
