On Thursday, April 25, the Cypress Council PTA and Boys & Girls Club of Cypress hosted a Family STEAM Night with a shark theme. Families enjoyed a free pizza dinner followed by seven hands-on, shark themed stations that parents and their children were able to participate in together. Over 275 people were in attendance for this family-friendly community event.
A few of the hands-on stations included making shark cages and floating shark models, engineering boats that can float, testing buoyancy and creating shark slime. All participants received tickets to enter a collection of prize drawings at the end of the night.
