American Legion honors students in the area

Five young students that attended Girls State were recently honored by the ladies of American Legion Auxiliary Unit 716 for their participation in the program.  Going to Girls State is a once a year function and it is a privilege being chosen.  The students spend a week learning about government, but besides that they meet girls from all over California.
