High School athletes sign College Letters of Intent

Los Alamitos High School held their second National Letter of Intent Signing Day in the school gymnasium on Thursday, Feb. 2.
The Los Alamitos Marching Band and Cheer teams greeted families, friends, teachers, and counselors to a stellar performance as they entered the gym.

The Los Alamitos Marching Band and Cheer teams greeted families, friends, teachers, and counselors to a stellar performance as they entered the gym.
Board President Meg Cutuli and Superintendent Dr. Sherry Kropp spoke about the importance of academics and athletics and the unique opportunity both offer for life after high school.  Each student-athlete made a short speech after being introduced by his or her coach. The following students signed letters of intent to play soccer: Jordyn Cook—Minot State University, Madison Deal—Central Washington University, Amanda Jones—Arizona State University, Leah Kellogg—Kansas State University,
Ally LaCarra-Platt—Cal Poly Pomona.
Andre Leomiti—Colorado State University Pueblo, and Joey Noble—Sacramento State University, signed letters of intent to play football.
Los Alamitos High School will hold one more signing day in late spring.
