“Give a Soldier a Night Off” is the theme for the annual Army Birthday Ball on the Queen Mary on June 11.
An opportunity for local Soldiers to relax, have fun at a formal military gala to celebrate the U.S.Army’s 241st Birthday going back to June 14, 1775.

An opportunity for local Soldiers to relax, have fun at a formal military gala to celebrate the U.S.Army’s 241st Birthday going back to June 14, 1775.
From the Battlefield to the Ballroom, our Soldiers serve with pride and confident they are part of the  greatest Army in the world, whether they are in the active Army, National Guard or Army Reserves. Our warfighters will enjoy a chance to be honored, a chance to be recognized for their service and sacrifice.
Give a Soldier a Night Off gives you an opport   unity to take your loved one out for a special evening in a glamorous setting.
Your donation can send a  deserving Soldier from the local areas and guest to the biggest Army social event of the year in Southern California.
Hosted by the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of the US Army in cooperation with Post # 283
of the American Legion,The Army Ball on Saturday, June 11 aboard the historic Queen Mary located at 1126 Queens Highway in Long Beach.
Please consider sponsoring a Soldier or a table of Soldiers. Your contribution will allow all our military guests to enjoy a elegant evening at no cost to themselves. A great way to say “Thank you for your service” in a meaningful way. The Soldier or Soldiers you will sponsor will be treated to a five-star dinner, entertainment and dancing.
As we honor the 241st Birthday of our great Army, we also honor those who serve it now and those veterans that have served in the past. The pride fills the grand room.
