It’s official: Cypress High School football standout Quinten Pounds as he makes it official that he will be attending the University of Washington. Pounds, as well as seven other Cypress High student-athletes signed letters of intent on Wednesday, Feb. 4, formally announcing plans where they will be attending college once their high school obligation is completed. Other Cypress student-athletes to sign letters of intent included quarterback Nick Buras (Northern State University), girls soccer stars Booke Riddle (Trinity Lutheran), Kelly Kessloff (Cal Poly), baseball players Jason Bush (New Mexico State) and Brandon Alamo (Cal State Fullerton) and softball stalwarts Ashley Ross (University of Illinois) and Kristy Boghossian (University of California San Diego).
