The Youth Center’s Summer Teen Camp brings action, adventure

Summer is a time for adventures, and kids can get a whirlwind week filled with activity by registering for The Youth Center’s annual Summer Teen Camp. There are 9 weekly camps throughout the summer, and kids can help to shape their action-packed week by weighing in on the week’s schedule. Kids 12 years and older can choose between activities and trips to exciting destinations like Catalina Island, Disneyland, Angel Stadium (Go, Halos!), K1 Speed, Wild Rivers, Boomers, Knott’s Soak City, Go-Kart World, Mulligan Family Center, and more. Your child will not only have the time of his or her life, but will also make lifelong friends and experience unique opportunities for personal growth.

“My kids had the opportunity to have fun with other teens in the community. The director bonded with the campers really well,” enthuses Teen Camp parent Karen Frankenberg. “It was safe, secure, and I never had to push them out the door — they were raring to go each day.”

“There was a better variety of activities and field trips for kids when compared to other camps,” agrees Mr. McDonald, another Teen Camp parent. “Teen Camp was very fun and tailored to their age group.”

Space in this all-inclusive teen camp is limited to 15 participants per week, and spots fill up fast, so register today! The Youth Center (established in 1952) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the youth and families of Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Seal Beach, and their surrounding communities.
