Superintendent Dr. Sherry Kropp said, “We are so grateful to LAEF for this tremendous support for safety on the campus of Los Alamitos High School. Our district is very fortunate to have a non-profit partner in LAEF and I am so appreciative to the community members and businesses that donate to support educational excellence in our community.”
Chris Vlasic, Director of Safety and Student Services, said, “LAEF’s support for this project is critical for all Los Alamitos USD families. Since we are a one-high-school district, all students will eventually benefit from this surveillance system. Our goal is to prevent potential safety issues from happening and we are confident that the cameras will act as a deterrent. We are also pleased to have footage available to review as necessary.”
LAEF is the non-profit partner of Los Alamitos Unified School District. LAEF provides afterschool and summer enrichment programs for students in grades Pre-K to 12. LAEF also provides significant funding to the district in critical areas impacting all students. For more information, visit www.LAEF4Kids.org or call (562) 799-4700 x80424 today.
