The children of two Los Alamitos natives have turned out to be forces to be reckoned with when it comes to water polo.
The Rozolis-Hill siblings brought home gold, silver, and bronze medals home from the 2016 USA Water Polo National Junior Olympics that were held at Stanford University from July 23-31.
James Rozolis-Hill plays for Vanguard Aquatics out of Huntington Beach. In the tournament first session, James’ 12U boys team won the championship from a field of 48 teams. His performance in the competition earned him the title of MVP.

The Rozolis-Hill siblings brought home gold, silver, and bronze medals home from the 2016 USA Water Polo National Junior Olympics that were held at Stanford University from July 23-31.
James Rozolis-Hill plays for Vanguard Aquatics out of Huntington Beach. In the tournament first session, James’ 12U boys team won the championship from a field of 48 teams. His performance in the competition earned him the title of MVP.
During the second session, Julia Rozolis-Hill received a third place medal for her play with the 16U girls team and a second place medal for her play with the 18U girls team. Each of the girls teams also placed from a field of 48 teams.
Julia and James live in Huntington Beach with their parents Jennifer and Tom. Jennifer graduated from Los Al High School 1990. Tom has been a swim instructor for the City of Los Alamitos for several years now, and he has also coached high school and college water polo.
Also, James and Julie and the grandchildren of 46 year Los Alamitos residents Jim and Pam Rozolis.
