Cypress Recreation and Community Services Commission is accepting nominations for its annual Volunteer Service Award, Youth Volunteer Award, and Outstanding Contribution to the Arts Award. These awards provide an excellent opportunity to recognize and appreciate Cypress residents who have made significant contributions to the community through their volunteer service.
Cypress Recreation and Community Services Commission is accepting nominations for its annual Volunteer Service Award, Youth Volunteer Award, and Outstanding Contribution to the Arts Award. These awards provide an excellent opportunity to recognize and appreciate Cypress residents who have made significant contributions to the community through their volunteer service.
Nominations are due on Friday, March 3 by 5:00 p.m. To make a nomination, please visit www.cypressrec.org or pick up a nomination form at the Cypress Community Center, 5700 Orange Avenue. The Volunteer Service and Youth Volunteer Service Awards are open to Cypress residents only; however, the Outstanding Contribution to the Arts Award is open to both residents and non-residents. Emphasis will be placed upon a candidate’s service and contributions to area organizations and to the general community.
