Los Alamitos confirmed COVID cases jumps to 16

The Orange County Healthcare Agency reported the largest single incidence of new cases in a single day on Saturday, April 25, with 124 new cases and with 105 cases reported on Sunday, April 26, brings the county total to 2267, with 39 deaths attributed to COVID-19.

According to OCHCA, the number of confirmed cases jumped to 16 in the city of Los Alamitos, compared to nearby La Palma with 13 cases. Cypress is now reporting 41 cases.

Los Alamitos did not appear on the list until approximately two weeks ago, only then reporting the 5 confirmed cases required to be published on the list. According to OC Healthcare, the Los Al case count has jumped from 5 to 16 cases in the time period since.
