Cypress City Clerk Denise Basham, third from left, is retiring after an 18-year career with the city. She was recognized at the April 22 City Council Meeting, where each City Council member, as well as other city staff, spoke lovingly and emotionally of all she has meant to the city and how much she will be missed.
