This past Monday, the store’s associate team leader, Morgan Pusey presented LAEF with a check for $3,255.00.  Executive Director Carrie Logue accepted the check along with Programs Manager Michael Kahn.  LAEF Board Secretary Kimberly Baldwin and her son Zachary were also present to accept the generous donation.  “LAEF is very grateful for the community support and Whole Food’s commitment to enhancing the educational experiences of students within their community,” said Carrie Logue on Monday.
With support from community organizations such as Whole Foods, LAEF can continue the tradition of excellence in our community by providing after-school and summer enrichment programs to Pre-K to 12th grade students.  In addition, LAEF can help fund targeted teaching staff to assist at all school locations throughout the Los Alamitos Unified School District.  LAEF is the non-profit partner of Los Alamitos Unified School District.
