The Kennedy High freshmen football team ended the season 10-0 and captured the Empire League Championship. The Fighting Irish closed out the season with a 20-7 win over Pacifica to complete their perfect season. With lost time to the COVID-19 shutdown and adapting to a new coaching staff, it has been a tough few years for the program. But the new coaching staff has proven to be a welcome addition and this year’s freshmen could be the start of the rebuilding process of the program. The players and coaches are pictured at Dairy Queen, where they celebrated with Blizzard treats.
