Beach Fitness, Inc. in Los Alamitos recently had a successful ribbon cutting and opening celebration at their newest location at 10682 Los Alamitos Blvd. At the new 2500 square foot facility, Beach Fitness Strength and Conditioning (BFSC) will have both group fitness classes including CrossFit and semi-private personal training.
“We feel embedded in the community,” said owner Bryce Turner. “As sponsors of State of the City luncheon, working with the Los Alamitos Unified School District and looking to bring a new dimension of health and wellness into Los Al, we truly feel a part of something greater.”
Turner and his business partner, Barbara Lands have brought in Barb’s husband, J.R., as a new partner. They are homeowners in Rossmoor. BFSC will operate similarly to Beach Fitness in terms of interaction with the local community.
“It is really cool to have friends and neighbors working out with us,” said J.R. “We are in the middle of the CrossFit Open Games competition.”
“We had such a great time at the Race on the Base, we are already committed to next year,” said Barb. “Also, looking forward to the Sugar Beet Festival after Run Seal Beach. We have already started with the recreation department partnership with the city as well.”
