Air Quality Management District (AQMD) representative, Debra Ashby brought a hydrogen vehicle to the City of Cypress on Thursday, Sept. 12, demonstrating the next wave of emerging technology in emissions free vehicles. Mayor Narain and his wife had the opportunity to test drive a Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-Cell SUV. This vehicle has the fuel economy of 71.3 miles per gallon gasoline equivalent (MPGe or MPGge), and has a range of 239.2 miles.

The AQMD will be hosting the 3rd Annual National Plug In Day on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at their headquarters at 21865 Copley Drive in Diamond Bar.  Come out and bring the family to see other innovative alternative fuel vehicles and how this technology is helping to make air cleaner.
