Griffins’ Denzal Brantley notched home his two TD’s of the night in consecutive fashion in the first quarter.

Marina was ran over by the Griffins running arsenal, which saw eight different players get at least a carry on the night
However, the Vikings did not let themselves walk out of Veterans stadium in a shutout defeat as they capitalized in the third quarter on a slip up in form by Los Al.
After the Vikings pressed the Griffins up to their own one yard line, Vikings’ quarterback Dominic Gonzalez rifled a pass in to Cooper Malerstein to score his sides only touchdown.
A big part of Marina not scoring is also due to the Griffins dominating presence in the defensive line.
Three different Los Al players sacked Gonzalez Friday night, which speaks for the sort of night the Marina quarterback had.
The pressure on Marina resulted in forced mistakes and unwarranted turnovers which aided in the Vikings’ downfall.
A pass early in the drive by Gonzalez in the first quarter was picked off by Griffins’ Blake Johnson and ran back for touchdown. The pick capped off a dominating display by Los Al.
