For those who want to participate in the Cypress Recreation and Community Services 5K and 10K run/walk, there is still time to register. Runners can register up to the morning of the race, from 6-7 a.m. The race starts at 7:30 a.m., prior to the start of the Cypress Community Festival.
The race has become a traditional start to the day’s festivities and will be followed by the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. The flat course makes for fast times as it winds its way through Cypress neighborhoods, and finishes in front of the Cypress Civic Center.
