The Cypress Centurions were defeated by #1 ranked Louisville in the second round playoffs for Division 2A. Cypress entered the playoffs ranked 19th in the division and ended their season ranked 20th. Playing at Louisville, the Centurions were defeated in three sets, drawing close in the second two sets. Cypress is the highest ranked Empire League team in Division 2A, and is primed to retain that spot for the 2015 season.
