Cypress Art League President Pat Edep, along with her team of Bob Meyer and Steve Coler, completed an art project for the city of La Palma Recreation and Community Services Department.
Cypress Art League President Pat Edep, along with her team of Bob Meyer and Steve Coler, completed an art project for the city of La Palma Recreation and Community Services Department.
The project they created is an expansive floor mural that runs around the perimeters of all three of the city’s basketball courts. The mural encompasses 18 youthful, action basketball figures of diverse ethnic backgrounds and 108 basketballs of various sizes.
This was made possible by a grant to the city of La Palma for resurfacing the courts if it included an art piece
The basketball courts are located at 7821 Walker St. in La Palma.
