The City of Los Alamitos has a modified trash pickup and street sweeping schedule this Holiday Season. Upcoming observed holiday’s are:
- Christmas Day on Thursday, Dec. 25
- New Years Day on Thursday, Jan. 1
Trash Pickup on all holidays falls on a Thursday this year, which is the city’s normally scheduled trash pickup day. Therefore, trash pickup day will be one day late on Friday for all the holidays.
There is no schedule change for holiday street sweeping this year. Additionally, due to holiday trash pickup on Friday’s, there will be no ticketing on those days as well.
The City of Los Alamitos encourages residents to move their vehicles and trash receptacles if possible so the street sweeper can pass. After the sweeper has passed, please replace your receptacles so the trash can be picked up. This will help keep your city looking beautiful.
