Cypress School District retirees representing a collective 334 years of service to students were recently recognized at a board meeting with resolutions and an engraved bell. On June 13, 2013, during the regularly scheduled board meeting, members and staff were also honored with a brief a reception.
The 2012-13 retirees included Morris Principal Jeannette Lohrman and Vessels Principal Jane Snyder. Teaching staff recognized were Vickie Bazz, Mary Ann Cullen, Linda Geyer, Vivian Haight, Georgi Hall, Karin Paustell, Carole Rankin, Sandra Skiles, Julie Vasapolli, Maureen Street-Welborn and Glenda Watkins. Classified staff recognized were Jane Beier, Loretta Cozine and Darlene Welch.
