Griffins clamp down on Knights

Two Los Alamitos High football players who had been hampered by injuries, returned on Thursday night to spark the Griffins to a 48-7 win over Lynwood, at Veteran Stadium.

Running back Ricardo Molina rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown to pace the Griffin offense. Defensive back James Stea, who had been limited by a broken foot, intercepted a pass and blocked a punt to set up two Griffin touchdowns.
