A festival, as defined by Wikipedia, is an event, usually and ordinarily staged by a local community, which centers on and celebrates some unique aspect of that community and the Festival. The 32nd annual Cypress Community Festival is no exception. After working for several months with the Cypress Festival’s planning committee, as well as various other individuals contributing their time and efforts to this event in some capacity, it’s obvious one unique aspect of this community lays in its level of volunteerism and community involvement.
For the past several years, Orange County Neighborhood Newspapers (OCNN) has shown a vested interest in the Cypress Community Festival by publishing and inserting the Festival’s official guide into the Event News, an OCNN newspaper covering the City of Cypress. This year, we’ve taken our commitment to the next level, doubling the Guide’s circulation to over 56,000 total copies distributed by integrating the News Enterprise, another OCNN publication covering Cypress, amongst several other communities. Please stop by any one of our four booths at the event itself and pick up a copy of the official guide, as well as any of the seven weekly community newspapers of which OCNN is comprised.
You’ll find the official Cypress Festival Guide a valuable information resource as you navigate your way through the Festival, enjoying your day eating and listening to various genres of music on multiple stages throughout the event grounds. But while enjoying this event with friends and family, don’t forget to stop by our booth and say hello.
For those of you remaining “in the loop” by acquiring your community based news and information on a weekly basis, we thank you for your continued readership of the News Enterprise and our news site, www.newsenterprise.net.
