Please join us for a special cultural event in celebration of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) at St Isidore Historical Plaza in Los Alamitos, CA on Saturday Oct. 24 from 2:00pm until 9pm. There will be an Altar Display Contest, Face Painting, Folkloric Dancing, dance to Live Music, and delicious food and drinks. We are seeking community partners (i.e. Individuals, Families, local businesses, Clubs, and Groups) to create altar displays to be shown during the El DÃa de los Muertos festival. One of the most important aspects of El DÃa de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is the creation of a memorial altar for the departed, known as an ofrenda. The altars are truly the heart and soul of this important cultural event. We are seeking community partners (i.e. Individuals, Families, local businesses, Clubs, and Groups) to create altar displays to be shown during the El DÃa de los Muertos festival. Altar displays are a great opportunity for community members and organizations to represent themselves and to celebrate their ancestors in the tradition of El DÃa de los Muertos.
St Isidore Historical Plaza is also seeking Vendors for this event. We welcome you to explore vendor opportunities with us. This Fiesta is an opportunity to connect with a diverse community and share in a centuries-old tradition. Vendors can showcase their products and contribute to the event’s cultural atmosphere. This event welcomes vendors such as artisans, vendors selling handmade items, clothing, and original art.
