The Woman’s Caucus of the League of California Cities met locally this past week to honor Fiona Ma, the California State Treasurer running for Lt. Governor, and other female elected and appointed officials. Janet Keo, a Council member from La Palma, was a member of the host committee as they welcomed key state officials and women from throughout the state. In addition to Ma, the group presented awards to (L-R) Lindsey P. Horvath (Los Angeles County Supervisor), Angie Mancillas (Community Leader/Executive) and Blanca Pacheco (California Assembly member). Local catering company Cozy Crepes catered the event.
