Los Alamitos High School announced the names of the Class of 2016 Valedictorians at the annual Senior Awards Night on May 26. Following this is that list: Mullaney Blue (University of Michigan), Duncan Fujii (University of Michigan), Mark Kim (Princeton), Monica Kim (Occidental College), Sean Pak (UC Berkeley), Josie Pearce (Dartmouth College), Swetha Ramesh (UC Berkeley), Jonathan Sarquiz (UCLA), Arielle Schultz (Haverford College), and Ashley Willingham (Princeton).

These top 10 students, according to GPA, represent a stellar commitment to academics over their entire four-year career at Los Al, and are headed to local, Cal State, UC, and Ivy League schools in the Fall to pursue a wide range of majors, including Aerospace Engineering, Economics, Biology, and Engineering.
Valedictorians from the Los Alamitos Unified School District were honored with a medal to be worn during this year’s Graduation Ceremony at the StubHub Center in Carson on June 16.
